Located in the industrial area of NW Portland, Northwest Marine Artworks (NWMAW) is home to nearly 100 artists and artisans creating fine art, jewelry, apparel, ceramics photography, sculpture and much more.

The space had previously been a marine ironworks building making large components for projects such as the Exxon Valdez and Bonneville Dam.

During the past few years, NWMAW, a Ken Unkeles project, has quietly evolved into a major art center in Portland with 75+ studios, more than 100 artists and the recent addition of Building 5—a 5,000 square foot art space for site-specific installation, performance, interdisciplinary collaborative works, film and community exhibition.

Lee Art Studios is #43 on the ground floor of the main hallway.
